Doing business in the United States means navigating arcane piles of expensive red tape.
But Trump and his allies in Congress are expected to roll back the most burdensome legislation, which will lower your bills while boosting stock values.
Take the automobile industry.
Under current regulations, all new cars must get at least 49 miles per gallon of gasoline.
That&rsquo;s the ruling from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, by the way &mdash; not any written law. But our Dan Amoss says it adds up to $15,000 to the cost of a car, whether you like that extra mileage or not.
So Trump could easily dump the mileage rule, freeing manufacturers to build lower-priced cars that people actually want.
Companies such as General Motors Co. (<a href="https://my.paradigmpressgroup.com/ticker/GM">GM</a>) and Ford Motor Co. (<a href="https://my.paradigmpressgroup.com/ticker/F">F</a>) would suddenly become more profitable&hellip; causing their stock prices to break out of their doldrums.
And that&rsquo;s just one example.
Mining companies could finally get approvals for stalled projects. New pipelines could get oil and gas where it needs to go. The drug approval process could get streamlined, cutting development costs and bringing life-saving treatments to patients faster than ever!
It&rsquo;s almost like the market is full of tigers that have been caged for years &mdash; just waiting for a chance to prove what they can do.
The Trump administration is about to set them free.

One of my favorite aspects of trading is finding patterns in the market that repeat like clockwork.
Today, I want to tell you about one of the rarest (and most profitable) patterns I&rsquo;ve ever seen.
It&rsquo;s an incredible money-making opportunity that we only see emerge once in a decade &mdash; if that.
But based on what I&rsquo;ve seen during my research, it&rsquo;s a pattern that&rsquo;s set to happen again very soon.
It&rsquo;s what I call the &ldquo;echo trade.&rdquo; Now, what exactly does that mean?
<h2>Introducing the Echo Trade</h2>
An echo trade is when you find a stock that was much higher several years ago and has now begun to recover to those old highs.
Often, those highs are two&hellip; three&hellip; or even five times higher than where the stock is trading right now.
It&rsquo;s a very rare opportunity that typically only happens in the aftermath of a once-in-a-decade stock market crash.
Over my 30-year career, I have only seen echo trades emerge twice. The first time was back in the early 2000s after the bursting of the internet bubble.
There were plenty of stocks that had fallen 90% or more during that crash, many of them even going bankrupt.
The ones that didn&rsquo;t go bankrupt, however, were positioned for huge returns. Want a great example?
Here&rsquo;s the chart of e-commerce giant Amazon.com (AMZN) from 1997 to the end of 2002&hellip;

Amazon shares skyrocketed from less than a split-adjusted $0.22 a share to $5 a share in 1999. That&rsquo;s a 20-fold return in just two years!
Then from its peak in December 1999, the stock collapsed and fell to a low of $0.31 by September 2001 &mdash; almost a complete round trip.
Unlike many of its internet competitors, though, Amazon did not go bankrupt.
The company survived, and the stock found firm footing. Over the next couple of years, it began to move up gradually.
The stock originally soared because Amazon was building a great company with a massive market opportunity.
Perhaps it shouldn&rsquo;t have gone up as quickly as it did, but it went up because it had potential. Once the company survived, it began to realize that potential.
Here&rsquo;s how the stock did over the next decade&hellip;

The stock was up more than 40-fold by the end of 2012!
I bet you probably know what happened after that. But here&rsquo;s the full chart from 1997 to today just in case&hellip;

From that low of $0.31 in 2002, the stock is up an incredible 640 times!
This is a classic example of an echo trade, a company with huge potential that sees its stocks soar.
Often the stock goes much higher than it should in the near term on investor excitement&hellip;
Then it crashes &mdash; not because it&rsquo;s a bad company, but rather because it was way ahead of itself.
Eventually, the company survives and continues to execute on its business plan and potential. The stock also stabilizes and moves higher.
It remains, however, well below its previous heights. At the end of 2002, Amazon stock was trading at roughly $1 per share.
That&rsquo;s up three-fold from the bottom, but still 80% below the high from a few years earlier.
As the company realizes even more of that potential and executes its huge opportunity, it begins to go even higher.
That&rsquo;s when the trade becomes an &ldquo;echo boom.&rdquo;
While Amazon may be the biggest of the stocks to emerge from the internet bubble collapse, dozens of other echo trades also became &ldquo;echo booms&rdquo; after this era.
And these opportunities are some of the biggest stock winners of all time.
Echo trades may be rare, but they will continue to happen again and again as long as human emotion continues to drive the market.
As I mentioned earlier, I&rsquo;ve only seen this opportunity play out twice in my trading career.
But now I&rsquo;m seeing a new wave of echo trades emerging today.

In the meantime, there are several ways to know when you receive an actionable alert from us.&nbsp;

Why after all of the &ldquo;we do not like the long promotional presentations, with touting how great everyones&rsquo; experiences are, then after an hour or more you get to the sales pitch," you say, &ldquo;Oh, we will publish the transcripts &lsquo;NEXT WEEK.&rsquo;&rdquo; How about publishing the transcript IMMEDIATELY?
Apologies, JoAnn, but you misunderstood what I meant.
Obviously providing transcripts with all of our videos wasn&rsquo;t going to happen automatically. Even if we used AI technology, someone would still need to read through it to make sure it was accurate.
So we had to set up a system and put quality controls in place. We just started last week&hellip; and now our plan will go into effect this week.
In other words, now that our system is in place, you will get a transcript for our pre-taped events immediately.
Keep in mind, though, we will still have live events. And since those are unscripted, it&rsquo;s impossible to have a transcript ahead of time.
But now that we can quickly produce transcripts, we&rsquo;ll be able to get the written version into your hands faster than ever before!

Last week, Matt asked &ldquo;<a href="https://concierge.paradigmpressgroup.com/post/is-paradigm-failing-you">Is Paradigm Failing You?</a>&rdquo;... and invited you to let us know in a special survey.
We received more responses than we&rsquo;ve ever had to a Concierge survey &mdash; in fact, more than every previous one combined!
But that didn&rsquo;t stop Matt from reading every comment, just like he promised. He even shared some of the sharpest criticism with the entire team:

<li>"Why, oh why, do your videos drone on for 60-90 minutes with NO way for me to fast forward OR better yet, read a transcript?&rdquo;</li>

So it went &mdash; pages and pages of people saying essentially the same thing.
Of course, there were a few compliments here and there. &ldquo;I like most everything you publish,&rdquo; says one. &ldquo;Everything&rsquo;s great. Keep doing what you&rsquo;re doing,&rdquo; encourages another.
And while it would have been easy to focus just on the positives, Matt is determined to do something about the negatives.
&ldquo;Look, we love being able to publish big ideas to our readers, and to do that we&rsquo;ve got to keep the lights on &mdash; we&rsquo;re running a business,&rdquo; he said in a staff memo. &ldquo;BUT we will treat our bosses better and implement some new policies on longer videos.&rdquo;

Finally for today, Mark M. challenges the big Income Alliance win that <a href="https://concierge.paradigmpressgroup.com/post/americas-next-move-live-and-in-person-with-james-altucher#anchortag">I mentioned in last week&rsquo;s Forum</a>
How did you come up with a gain of 159% in 16 days? BABA went from $83 to $108; that's ~30+, not 159%!
You&rsquo;re right, Mark &mdash; shares of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (<a href="https://my.paradigmpressgroup.com/ticker/BABA">BABA</a>) jumped 29% between Sept. 11 and Sept. 27.
But you missed the key word in my original sentence. I made it clear that the gains came from BABA calls. That is, call options on the stock.
Zach recommended BABA call options with a strike price of $80 and an Oct. 18 expiration.
Options are leveraged instruments. That means they often cost a fraction of a stock&rsquo;s share price&hellip; and can magnify small price gains in the stock.
In fact, at the time, the BABA calls were trading for $6.30 a share.
Two weeks later, when the BABA shares were heading towards $108, the calls Zach recommended were worth $16.37.
So a 29% stock increase in the stock&rsquo;s price became a 159% gain for anyone who followed Zach&rsquo;s recommendation!
And he wasn&rsquo;t done yet. A few days later, he used BABA calls to deliver 36% and 121% gains from a 19% rise in BABA&rsquo;s share price.

Our cocktail hour was in full swing, and James had already checkmated several of his 10 chess opponents.
By then, most of the crowd had dispersed throughout the Baltimore Four Seasons&rsquo; ballroom, forming small groups with fellow members and their favorite analysts.
Only a few chess diehards were paying close attention to the boards. I don&rsquo;t know much about chess, but I was close enough to the tables to see what was going on, too.
So I had a front-row seat when it happened&hellip;
Keep in mind, this was after a full day of top-notch insights from our team.
James shared a few anecdotes I&rsquo;d never heard before &mdash; and reminded us that <a href="https://jaltucher.medium.com/why-you-should-run-for-president-of-the-united-states-in-the-next-ten-minutes-4f0195255694">he&rsquo;s technically a presidential candidate</a>.
Chris Cimorreli put a spotlight on some &ldquo;wild and crazy&rdquo; microcap speculations&hellip; including a popular &ldquo;pot stock&rdquo; that&rsquo;s due for a resurgence.
Chris Campbell explained why the next phase of the cryptocurrency boom is all about YOU. Companies are lining up to create locally sourced crypto applications &mdash; ready to reward people for monitoring things like weather and air quality.
He&rsquo;s bullish on Ethereum because many of these up-and-coming projects are based on the crypto&rsquo;s network.
With so much to mull over and discuss, I&rsquo;m not surprised that the chess audience had shrunk&hellip;
But I was surprised when James suddenly offered his hand to one of the remaining players and said, &ldquo;You won!&rdquo;
The man looked at the board in confusion. James wasn&rsquo;t in check. He was conceding.
Still, the player didn&rsquo;t know why.
So James walked him through it. &ldquo;If I go here, you&rsquo;ll go here. If I move this instead, you&rsquo;ll counter with this&hellip;&rdquo;
In other words, James knew where the game was going&hellip; and realized he didn&rsquo;t have a chance to win.
He could have kept playing &mdash; ignoring his hopeless position or praying for some sort of miracle&hellip; wasting his time and efforts.
Instead, he accepted the reality of the situation, ended the game and moved on to the next board.
In the end, that was James&rsquo; only loss among nine other wins.
But the game he conceded provided the most important investment lesson of all.

I always enjoy all the topics I see. I know it&rsquo;s been discussed, generally, but I&rsquo;m puzzled about why the seemingly coordinated effort by the DOJ, Homeland Security, FBI AND Secret Service to not be forthcoming with their findings regarding the two assassination attempts on Trump. It&rsquo;s pretty apparent that it will be a revelation of inadequacy, but darn, they work for us and we pay their salaries. You could say that they are an investment we have made: an investment in our safety and well-being!
Thanks for the letter, Lorre. I assume it&rsquo;s a response to &ldquo;<a href="https://concierge.paradigmpressgroup.com/article/trump-assassination-attempt-part-2">Trump Assassination Attempt Part 2</a>&rdquo; &mdash; the Jim Rickards&rsquo; Strategic Intelligence story that <a href="https://concierge.paradigmpressgroup.com/post/monday-kickstart-our-top-stories-and-the-reader-forum#anchortag">I unlocked for you last week</a>.

As a lifetime subscriber, I was sold that all new Rickards services are supposed to be included. Paradigm instead offers new services, trading on Jim's name, but with a different name. Very misleading. 
I hope you&rsquo;re reading this James, because I don&rsquo;t ever want someone to think we&rsquo;re not delivering on our promises.
Your Jim Rickards Unrestricted Clearance membership gives you lifetime access to every Paradigm Press publication that Jim oversees. Essentially, if it has his name in it, you get it.
Right now the full lineup includes Jim Rickards&rsquo; Strategic Intelligence (and Pro)... Crisis Trader With Jim Rickards&hellip; Jim Rickards&rsquo; Insider Intel&hellip; The Situation Report with Jim Rickards&hellip; and Rickards Uncensored.
You&rsquo;ll also get any new service Paradigm publishes with Jim at the helm.
We do offer a few services that feature Jim as a guest contributor. But it would be unfair to include them in Unrestricted Clearance. Regular members would have to pay more &mdash; despite only getting a fraction of Jim&rsquo;s attention.
Of course, Jim also has a lot of colleagues at Paradigm Press. He has a lot of industry friends and contacts, too. It&rsquo;s only natural that he would want to endorse their services, even if he&rsquo;s not on the team.
