Finally for today, Jim Rickards Unrestricted Clearance member James F. had a lot of negative things to say in Friday’s Rickards Uncensored chat.

And while my customer service team is working to address his concerns, James said one thing that I feel warrants a response here:

As a lifetime subscriber, I was sold that all new Rickards services are supposed to be included. Paradigm instead offers new services, trading on Jim's name, but with a different name. Very misleading.

I hope you’re reading this James, because I don’t ever want someone to think we’re not delivering on our promises.

You’ll also get any new service Paradigm publishes with Jim at the helm.

We do offer a few services that feature Jim as a guest contributor. But it would be unfair to include them in Unrestricted Clearance. Regular members would have to pay more — despite only getting a fraction of Jim’s attention.

Of course, Jim also has a lot of colleagues at Paradigm Press. He has a lot of industry friends and contacts, too. It’s only natural that he would want to endorse their services, even if he’s not on the team.

But it doesn’t make sense to add things to Unrestricted Clearance that he has nothing to do with.

And finally, Jim sometimes works with entities outside of Paradigm Press. While we support these unaffiliated projects, they are largely out of our control. In fact, there are often contractual obligations that prevent us from adding these third-party ventures to Unrestricted Clearance. 

But these are very rare — and often very special — cases… usually for things that we simply don’t have the resources to offer ourselves.
