Monthly Mastermind: Harnessing AI’s Predictive Power

James here with your AI Mastermind interview…

In last month’s Altucher’s Investment Network issue, I mentioned that I recently recorded an interview about how AI combined with massive data on the human genome is getting closer than ever to curing diseases like cancer, heart disease, and many other health issues.

Well, it’s finally ready to go, so without further ado, let’s dive in…

Well, it’s finally ready to go, so without further ado, let’s dive in…

In this interview, I bring on the authors of The Age of Prediction: Algorithms, AI, and the Shifting Shadows of Risk, Chris Mason and Igor Tulchinsky.

Igor has a $7 billion hedge fund that uses algorithms to analyze massive amounts of data to predict stock market moves and Chris is a geneticist and computational biologist who has worked on many missions and projects at NASA. Together they wrote this amazing “guidebook” on how AI is the most powerful predictive tool we’ve ever seen.

After reading it, I am convinced that the next up-and-coming job will be “data analyst” or “predictor”. The ability to interpret the data that AI gives us and apply it, whether in the medical field, sports, stocks, insurance, or art, is going to be a crucial skill to have. And this industry is in its infancy. So many amazing things will come from this… like editing genes to cure diseases like I mentioned and so much more.

This interview is packed with amazing insights so make sure you listen to this full recording by pressing the play button below…
