I think you should measure the way you speak about Trump's plans. People may lose their home or will not be able to provide for their family, and there is nothing exciting about that.

The Water Cooler — Upcoming Events and More

It’s been a rough few weeks for cryptocurrency investors.

They surged after President Trump’s election victory… only to slump again as his administration focused its attention elsewhere.

But Trump hasn’t forgotten his promise to create a National Strategic Cryptocurrency Reserve. In fact, he’s hosting a cryptocurrency summit at the White House this week.

The news alone has sent Bitcoin soaring higher.

And according to James Altucher, lesser-known cryptos are set for even bigger gains!

That’s because Trump wants the United States to hold more than just Bitcoin.

In fact, he’s specifically named Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and more as likely components of the Reserve.

James has long said he prefers Ethereum over Bitcoin because its blockchain is much more versatile.

This time, however, Solana might be the better bet.

Over the weekend, 11.2 million Solana tokens were auctioned off to help settle the debts of disgraced cryptocurrency broker FTX.

The sudden surge of supply should have caused SOL’s price to shrink dramatically. Yet its price actually surged instead.

And now it’s set to receive attention from the Trump administration…

So don’t be surprised if this is the last time that Solana is available at such a low price!
