Wildcards

Wall Street has mostly shaken off last week’s sell-off.

But our team says a few wildcards could send the markets in any direction this week.

I’ll tell you what you should be ready for in a minute.

First, though, let’s look at our Top Stories and the Reader Forum.

Your Top Stories & Analysis of the Week:

  • “Kamala’s First Big Mistake: The Red Peril for Veep” (Rude Awakening, Sean Ring): There’s no question that Kamala Harris’ candidacy shook up the election. But as Sean explains, selecting Tim Walz as her running mate may end her chances of winning the White House. Sean lists all the ways that Walz is out of step with middle America — holding positions that are about as far Left as you can go. Not surprisingly, this was our most-liked e-letter last week. Member Gary G. tells us he “thoroughly enjoyed reading this one.”
  • “Today’s 5 BULLETS Is Packed With Misinformation” (Paradigm Pressroom’s 5 Bullets, Dave Gonigam,): There are plenty of signs that the U.S. economy is in the early stages of a recession. But don’t expect the mainstream press to mention anything. And good luck sharing evidence on social media — because you might get yourself canceled. Dave explains more in this annual “censorship” issue, updated for recent events. Learn exactly when “cancel culture” took hold… and why it’s not limited to curbing your freedom of speech.

Remember, we publish tens to HUNDREDS of stories. The write-ups and presentations above are our TOP ones for the week — including one that had been roped off from the public. If you want to stay ahead of the pack, make sure you’re caught up now.

And if you’d like to nominate any of our stories for next week’s “Top 3,” just let me know at concierge@paradigmpressgroup.com.

The Reader Forum:

First from the mailbag today, Omega Wealth Circle member Steve S. tells me:

With all the revolving doors from a domestic and geopolitical perspective, I felt like there was always more to learn. What a great ride over the years to the point of feeling as though I need more knowledge every day. Joining the Omega group, I feel more fulfilled in order to capture the core of what the driving forces really are for my investments.

I’ve been hearing from a lot of Omega Wealth Circle members lately, Steve. So thank you for your loyalty and dedication — not to mention your kind words.

The markets are huge, with many nooks and crannies that are easily overlooked. I’m happy to hear that you want to explore all of them. And with the Omega Wealth Circle, you have our entire team as your guides!

Next, Lee S. writes James Altucher to say:

Wanted you to know how much I enjoy the Microcap Millionaire. I trust you. I really do. It seems you and your Paradigm pals are all very diverse, never a follower.

I hope you see this, Lee, because I’m happy to hear your thoughts on our newest service!

Our team thinks that last week’s sell-off might be the start of a new phase in the markets — one that will benefit Wall Street’s smallest stocks!

So James and his team should earn your trust over the next few weeks and months. As you say, we don’t follow the crowds. Instead, we figure out where investors will look for profits next — then try to beat them there!

Finally for today, Jim Rickards’ Strategic Intelligence and Altucher’s Early-Stage Crypto Investor member Bobby L. wants me to know:

I spent good money joining Paradigm just so I can hear how good or bad things are, and — oh, by the way — we have great picks for you because of this and that, if you will pay to join another one of your deals to get the stock suggestions. I feel we should get them with all the added charges. Feels like a bait-and-switch!

I recently addressed a similar complaint, Bobby, but accusing us of “bait-and-switch” is a big deal. So here’s an example to help you understand where we’re coming from.

Let’s say a mail-order bakery offers a cookie subscription — sending you a dozen of the best cookies you’ve ever eaten every month. And since you’re a first-time customer, your initial order also includes some cupcakes and a tin of brownies.

Next month, you get the cookies again, just like you paid for. You also get an offer that lets you buy more cupcakes and brownies at a discounted price.

Is that “bait-and-switch”?

You might argue that cupcakes and brownies use different ingredients and require different baking techniques — so of course they’d cost more.

But the same principle applies to our financial research. Paradigm Press has over 23 publications — each designed to give you an edge in today’s markets.

Exploring these different investment fields takes different resources and levels of effort. Our teams use a multitude of tools and methods — some quite expensive — to find lucrative opportunities that suit specific groups of people.

In other words, we’re more than just cookies. We’re an entire bakery of investment ideas that span a wide financial universe.

And we always deliver exactly what we promise — if not more. Remember, your membership includes free e-letters and other special bonuses that bring you more information on a wide variety of topics.

If you’re interested in these expanded offerings, you’re welcome to sign up for them.

Please, though, don’t insult our team’s hard work by insisting they do it for free.

That wraps up this week’s Reader Forum.

Remember, your feedback is vital to our success… so please email me at concierge@paradigmpressgroup.com.

Questions? I’ll get answers! Comments? Let me hear them! Problems? I’ll try to solve them!

This is YOUR forum!

(And don’t forget, we also have a FREE library of introductory investment guides — covering everything from finding a broker to how to trade stock options — on our Wealth Desk. For customer service issues, please use our contact page.)

Now, here’s what’s happening around the water cooler this week…

The Water Cooler — Upcoming Events and More

“This is not the ‘big one,’” Jim Rickards said in a special Strategic Intelligence update last Monday.

Sure enough, markets have clawed their way back and look poised to go higher today.

Just don’t get too comfortable.

In a few days, we’ll get the latest inflation numbers. Anything higher than expected could make Wall Street question the Federal Reserve’s commitment to rate cuts.

Then on Thursday we have retail sales data.

Jim says a “recession probably began in June or even May.” So Thursday’s numbers could offer more proof — which will not be good for stock prices.

Of course, there are always plenty of ways to make money — even when the markets drop.

You just need to be ready to move fast… and charge into the markets when everyone else is looking for somewhere to hide.

Count on our team to lead you to those gains, no matter what comes our way!
