Countdown to Chaos?
Election Tuesday is just eight days away.
But don’t expect to know who won Wednesday morning!
Our team says we’re in for weeks of chaos and uncertainty… which will bleed into Wall Street.
So we’re putting together an entire list of strategies for protecting your wealth — even scoring big gains — from the ups and downs we see ahead.
I’ll give you a sneak preview after our Top Stories and the Reader Forum…
Your Top Stories & Analysis of the Week:
- "Everyone Is Lying About the Election" (Altucher Confidential, James Altucher) People are so caught up in the election drama that they’re missing the real story — the one that affects your wallet. James has spent months analyzing the financial data (not the polls)... and he’s uncovered where money will be flowing next. While James will leave you wanting more, this was our most-liked e-letter last week — which is why I urge you to give it a read.
- ”The Donald’s McDonald’s” (Rude Awakening, Sean Ring): Liberals derided Donald Trump’s brief stint as a fast food drive-through cashier. And while Sean admits it was just a political stunt, he also says the negative comments expose Trump’s foes for who they really are. He explains why a job at McDonald’s is nothing to be ashamed of… and why Trump’s willingness to prove that strengthens his presidential bid. See why this was Sean’s most-liked story!
- “Gold Prices: Prepare for Blast Off” (The Situation Report With Jim Rickards, Jim Rickards): Almost a year ago, I told you “It’s Unanimous — Buy [Gold] NOW!” Since then, the yellow metal has shot up nearly $1,000 an ounce. And it’s not finished yet. Jim recently told his Situation Report readers how high it will go, based on investor psychology, central bank purchases and hints from last week’s BRICS meeting. If you’re still on the fence about precious metals, Jim’s analysis might convince you it’s time to act. This was also one of his most-liked stories of the week, which is why I’ve unlocked it for you.
Remember, we publish tens to HUNDREDS of stories. The write-ups above are our TOP ones for the week — including one that had been roped off from the public. If you want to stay ahead of the pack, make sure you’re caught up now.
And if you’d like to nominate any of our stories for next week’s “Top 3,” just let me know at concierge@paradigmpressgroup.com.
The Reader Forum:
Last week I discussed our plans to respond to readers’ requests. Not surprisingly, a lot of members had more thoughts to share.
Craig T. adds to the conversation about the volume of email he receives. He also tells us:
I've been subscribed for about three months and I'm really impressed with the information that I don't get anywhere else…. I really love the stock tips and have done well on many of them. Sometimes I miss them because it's not clear which of the many emails have stock tips. Please make it clearer which emails have those.
Thanks for writing in, Craig! I’m very glad to hear that our stock recommendations are paying off for you.
As I explained in my previous Concierge Letter, Publisher Matt Insley is taking steps to reduce the number of messages that hit your inbox.
In the meantime, there are several ways to know when you receive an actionable alert from us.
First, many of our services can send a text message straight to your phone whenever there’s a new action to take. Look for a sign-up link at the bottom of each service’s email.
You can also check the subject line of our emails. Our team makes a point of using words like “new buy alert”... “flash sell”... or something similar in the subject line of any actionable alert.
Finally, check out the Message Center on our website. You can quickly scan the titles of everything we’ve sent… or filter to focus just on the alerts.
I hope that helps!
Next, Edward K. shares a bit about his life, then says:
You must keep your most useful information archived. How do I access and search for it? For the record I am mesmerized by and grateful for access to the brilliance and accumulating wisdom of Mr. James Altucher.
James and his team will appreciate your kind words, Edward. You can be sure that I passed them along.
And it’s easy to find and save your favorite articles on our website. Simply go to the homepage of whatever service you’re interested in. There you’ll find a complete archive of issues, alerts, reports and more.
If you’re looking for something specific, use our search page. (You can also gain access to it by clicking on the little magnifying glass at the top right of our web page.) Look for specific subjects, stock tickers or anything else. You can filter the results by service name or type of publication.
And don’t forget about our save function. If you want to save an article for future reading, click on the “bookmark” icon on the right side of the story.
You can find it again on the Message Center. Just click the “Saved” button to bring up your bookmarked articles.
With these tools, everything you need is right at your fingertips!
Finally for today, JoAnn C. asks:
Why after all of the “we do not like the long promotional presentations, with touting how great everyones’ experiences are, then after an hour or more you get to the sales pitch," you say, “Oh, we will publish the transcripts ‘NEXT WEEK.’” How about publishing the transcript IMMEDIATELY?
Apologies, JoAnn, but you misunderstood what I meant.
Obviously providing transcripts with all of our videos wasn’t going to happen automatically. Even if we used AI technology, someone would still need to read through it to make sure it was accurate.
So we had to set up a system and put quality controls in place. We just started last week… and now our plan will go into effect this week.
In other words, now that our system is in place, you will get a transcript for our pre-taped events immediately.
Keep in mind, though, we will still have live events. And since those are unscripted, it’s impossible to have a transcript ahead of time.
But now that we can quickly produce transcripts, we’ll be able to get the written version into your hands faster than ever before!
That wraps up this week’s Reader Forum.
Remember, your feedback is vital to our success… so please email me at concierge@paradigmpressgroup.com.
Questions? I’ll get answers! Comments? Let me hear them! Problems? I’ll try to solve them!
This is YOUR forum!
(And don’t forget, we also have a FREE library of introductory investment guides — covering everything from finding a broker to how to trade stock options — on our Wealth Desk. For customer service issues, please use our contact page.)
Now, here’s what’s happening around the water cooler this week…
The Water Cooler — Upcoming Events and More
“I’m not worried about the election,” says our Byron King. “I’m worried about the six weeks after the election.”
Polls continue to show Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in a dead heat. Both parties are already filing lawsuits to protest how votes are being cast and counted.
You can bet there will be even more court action after Election Day.
We might not even know who controls Congress and the White House until everyone is sworn in.
Wall Street has mostly ignored the political race. But investors hate uncertainty.
So any drawn-out battles to figure out our leaders will hit the major indexes — not to mention precious metals… energy prices… cryptocurrencies… and more.
“We’re going to have a lot of churn… probably until Jan. 20,” Byron adds.
That’s why our team is working hard to prepare you for what’s to come. They’re identifying ways to turn the chaos to your advantage… giving you a chance for huge gains along the way.
So be on the lookout for special election presentations, predictions and alerts.
